Our best camping destination ever is South Dakota. From camping on the "wall" to Badlands National Park, Spearfish Canyon, Sage Creek Campground, Custer State Park, Needles Highway, Deadwood, and Mt Rushmore to name a few. The scenery is surreal, and the wildlife is abundant. Our neighbors in Sage Creek Campground were bison and prairie dogs. We saw lots of wildlife like bighorn sheep, pronghorn, mountain goats, things that don't exist in the Midwest.
